Licensed Clinician

Positions Summary:

HWCCC is seeking an experienced Licensed Clinician (Therapist) interested in becoming a part of a dynamic team of service-driven health professionals. Assisting the clients with developing, planning, and implementing strategies for program continuation and growth. This position requires a positive and supportive attitude toward the agency and its overall success. Must have the ability to think globally, independently, solve problems and have good decision-making skills, including critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities:

● LMSW, LCSW-C, LGSW, LICSW, LCPC, LPC, LMFT Therapist will be responsible for providing
structured, ethical, and culturally sensitive clinical counseling in accordance with the Maryland,
and District of Columbia license and certification standards to provide mental health services.
● Provides counseling, treatment plan, treatment plan reviews, and assessments for individuals
served.
● Provides outpatient therapy services for children, adults, families, and couples, both in
individual and group settings.
● Conducts mental health intakes, assessments, and develops treatment plans.
● Conducts diagnostic assessments.
● Participates in treatment team meetings, link families to appropriate services, and agencies to
assist in the overall health and wellbeing of the individuals served.
● Provides therapy; maintains assigned caseload.
● Works with Clinical Director and other multi-disciplinary team members to develop and
implement treatment plans/assessments for clients.
● Creates appropriate case management notes and input into systems as required.
● Conducts diagnostic assessments, including in the community.
● Follow up with client’s and assess during a crisis.

Benefits:

● Salary: $45.00- $55.00 per session
● No cost supervision for clinical licensure.
● Flexible remote schedule.

Qualifications:

● Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
● Must be licensed in Maryland.
● Preferred Maryland, DC, and VA
● Excellent oral and written communication skills.
● Excellent problem-solving skills.

● Excellent time management organizational skills.
